MEJO 121: Intro to Storytelling

In MEJO 121, we were asked to create a story using 60 seconds. A great advertisement tells a story, evokes emotion and informs the consumer. This was the first advertisement I ever created and I learned a lot about using Premier Pro, a digital camera, and different mics to properly film content.

MEJO 379: Advertising and Public Relations Research

My class, MEJO 379: Advertising and Public Relations Research was assigned a semester-long research project of our choosing. This group project conducted focus groups, surveys, and A/B testing to better market towards our target audience. My group decided to research and discuss how Urban Outfitters can rebrand themselves to withstand outside threats such as cancel culture. This project posed many challenges, but I am thankful for my inspiring team members who help put this together. 

MEJO 332: Public Relations Writing

My MEJO 332 class took on multiple non-profits through APPLES Service Learning. My group helped create deliverables for the Museum of Durham History. Content included: social media posts, press releases, blogs, and more.
